Our Story

My family hail from a small village called Tersefanou near Larnaca in Cyprus. I have great memories of holidaying there and cooking on a foukou – a traditional Cypriot BBQ – with my Dad. Not only did he teach me how to barbecue, but his huge influence inspired me to begin Smok’n Greek BBQ.

Our aim is to bring a taste of Greek and Cypriot home-cooked and BBQ food to a larger audience. My mum’s recipes of Makaronia tou Fournou (Pastitsio), Pourgouri (Bulgar Wheat) and Fasolia (White Bean Stew), among others, have been passed down to me, and now also to my wife, who thrives on making healthy, home-cooked meals.

My passion is for sharing my experiences of making traditional Greek and Cypriot food in order for our clients to enjoy our carefully prepared food at fetes, festivals, private functions, etc., experiencing something delicious & slightly different to the norm.

We can’t bring the island beauty of Cyprus to you, but we can bring a little piece of it to your table.
